In 2012 the world of schools’ marketing progressed to new levels with direct emails to teachers hitting new heights of ROI and postal marketing results surging back to levels not seen for 3 years. Despite economic doom-mongering the education sector has continued to spend consistently with new inflows of readily available cash coming from the government’s Pupil Premium scheme.

Teachers are now savvy to generic marketing jargon; it has become like white noise to them. Success within the UK education sector will come from those companies looking to become more “human” through clever sociable content within their marketing.

Teachers are more likely to respond to your marketing if they feel there is a real person contacting them as opposed to being caught up in just another mass-marketing campaign. Be more “loveable” and trust from teachers will grow.
